Email or give our Project Director a call on (02) 64933400 with questions or to discuss dates and your group aims.  Email is often best as we can be remote.

Price will vary with the needs of different groups but current base rate for students is $115/night/person for a fully staffed student program.

The Crossing may also be booked as a rental venue with or without catering if you wish to provide your own training.  Site rental for adult workshops is $210/day or $285/day on weekends or public holidays with a range of add-ons available for meals, activities and use of equipment.  The Crossing is about sustainable design, conservation education and educational leadership and we ask site hirers to be supportive of these aims.

A combination of site hire and Crossing staffing is also possible if you want to integrate your training with an outdoor journey activity such as canoeing, mountain biking or hiking or some practical time for your participants doing hands-on purposeful permaculture design, conservation and/or Landcare tasks.  Guided tours of the site are also available.

Download the medical and permission/application forms visible in the right column on this page to distribute among attendees.

Make a medical summary sheet for all students and teachers/group leaders and email to The Crossing at least two weeks prior to the camp as we are a remote site and need this lead time critical information to ensure food orders and staffing ratios are met. We also need to prepare for and to clarify any medical issues that have been identified.  This also allows us time to make modifications to the program if needed to maximise participant involvement.

Once dates and a program are agreed we will invoice you for a 30% deposit.

Two weeks prior to the course we will invoice you for the full amount minus the deposit.

Please bring original student and teacher registration/medical forms with you as we are required to retain these records by our insurers.
