Booking Sea to Snow Journey Training for Year 10 (Yr 9 & 11 also considered)

Booking Sea to Snow Journey Training is easy.   Purchase a ticket for the 3 day training camp here (we will then send you an application and medical form to fill out for the camp).  A minimum group of 10 is required. Up to 7 guys and 7 girls will be accepted.

Dates for training and journey 2016 are:
10-12 August Training, 22-30 September Journey

Scholarship/subsidy support is available by selling Crossing recipe books. The books explain the story of The Crossing and The Sea to Snow Journey and each book sold raises $25.  Two journey scholarships for aboriginal students are also available courtesy of the Biamanga National Park Board of Management.  You must also give a photopoint or film presentation to the Board after your journey to thank them for their support.

Sea to Snow journey training develops leadership skills and confidence, and provides life-long friendships. The Sea to Snow Journey is a stand-out achievement on a resume. The journey can also be counted as an expedition for the Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award.

You may directly enter the Gold award if you are 16yrs. Once you have been accepted by The Crossing you can then complete an online Duke of Edinburgh Award registration making The Crossing Land Education Trust your Award Unit (but a separate fee is also payable to the Award Scheme for this).
